Green building methods take hold around nation

Green building laws are sweeping the nation, requiring some government buildings to be constructed with more consideration for energy efficiency and the health of building occupants. The measures come amid research showing that traditional buildings cause as much as 38% of carbon dioxide emissions that are blamed for global warming.
