GSA Says LEED Most Credible Green-Building-Rating System

The General Services Administration (GSA) issued a report that found the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC's) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) system to be the most credible among five green-building-rating systems evaluated. In the report, the U.S. Department of Energy Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) researchers compared the following five methods for determining whether a building's design and construction are green: the Building Research Establishment's Environmental Assessment Method, the Comprehensive Assessment System for Building Environmental Efficiency (CASBEE), the GBTool, Green Globes U.S., and LEED...Read More>>
